### A preview, not a contact lens

It changes the color of the iris, in a photo. It doesn’t change your pupils, the whites of your eyes, your lashes, makeup, skin, glasses or the background. It can’t tell you exactly how a lens will look: real lenses differ in how much they cover your own color, and light changes how any eye color looks. A photo edit changes the picture, never your eyes, so it’s the safe way to try a color. Your real eye color is still yours, so don’t use an edited photo on an ID or anywhere people expect the real you.

### Why do my eyes look a different color in different light?

Blue, green and hazel eyes depend partly on how the iris scatters light, not only on pigment. Daylight, shade and indoor bulbs change how they look. That’s also why a new shade can look a little different from photo to photo.

### What eye color would suit me?

There’s no rule, which is why it helps to see it on your own photo. Try two or three colors and compare them side by side.

### What is the rarest eye color?

### Can I use it on a photo of someone else?

Only if they said yes. Use a photo of you, or of people who agreed. GoStudio.ai blocks nude and sexual images and won’t help make fake or harmful images of real people.
