AI VIDEO EXTENDER

Extend Any Video and Make It Longer

Make a video longer without looping it. Most tools stretch a clip by repeating it, freezing the last frame or slowing it down — and all three are visible in a second. GoStudio's AI Video Extender generates new footage instead, continuing the shot with the same motion, lighting and subject, so the extra seconds look filmed rather than faked. Your original footage comes back untouched, with its audio, resolution and frame rate intact.

10 free credits — no card Add seconds, not repeats No loops, no freeze frames

Drop your video in

MP4, MOV or WEBM — 2 to 15 seconds, up to 720p

Note: Your video is processed securely and never shared with third parties. Runs are billed per second of the finished video — your clip plus the seconds you add — and the exact credit cost is shown before anything starts.

  • Online — nothing to install
  • Generated, not looped
  • Motion & lighting carried on
  • Audio, resolution & frame rate kept

HOW IT WORKS

How to extend a video in 3 steps

Upload your clip and say how much longer you need — extend a video online without looping it.

1. Upload your video

MP4, MOV or WEBM, 2 to 15 seconds long. Processed securely and never shared.

2. Choose how much longer

Add a few seconds or a lot — enough to reach a 15s Reel, a 30s ad slot or the end of your voiceover.

3. Download the longer cut

The AI continues the shot instead of repeating it. Same resolution, frame rate and audio — and no GoStudio watermark.

WHY CHOOSE US

Make a video longer without looping

Most tools stretch a clip by repeating it or freezing the last frame. GoStudio generates footage that continues the shot — industry by industry.

Creators & social media

The shot ends too soon

The take runs out two seconds before the hook lands, and looping it is obvious the moment the motion snaps back. Extending generates the seconds that were never filmed, so the clip carries on to the end of the line.

Ads & performance marketing

Direct the extra seconds

The last beat of an ad has a job — the reveal, the logo, the reaction. Add a prompt along with the length and the AI plays that beat, rather than handing you more of the same shot, so one take reaches 15 or 30 seconds and lands.

Film, agencies & event teams

Straight onto your timeline

B-roll that ran short, a transition that needs another beat, an AI clip that stopped at eight seconds. The extension comes back at your resolution and frame rate and drops onto the timeline beside the shot it continues.

Four reasons a clip needs to be longer

Pick the one that sounds like yours.

A puppy resting on a sofa with a filmstrip below it, the frames before the playhead from the original clip and the frames after it generated by AI to continue the shot

Carry a shot past its last frame

The take ends before the moment does. The AI reads your final seconds — motion, light, camera — and keeps going, so the join is a continuation, not a cut.

Two years ago we spent thousands on branded images and professional headshots. Then I found GoStudio.ai — it helps you look like yourself, just on your best, most confident day.

Sometimes, you don't need a photo shoot to look like your future self. You just need a visual story that says, 'I made it.' That's where GoStudio.ai can help.

The founder personally fixed all of my photos. Her commitment to giving everyone an excellent experience makes her a cut above many others. I have to give the experience 5 stars.

The images look so close to my original that if I didn't tell you they were AI-generated, you'd probably never notice. AI is your assistant — not your identity.

Kanika personally hopped on a call to help. That level of professionalism and kindness really impressed me. The AI photo is beautiful — GoStudio.ai makes professional identity accessible.

GoStudio.ai helped me show up as who I'm actually becoming — not who I thought I was supposed to be. It replaced two photographers and a retoucher for our catalog.

Kanika built GoStudio.ai — an app that turns your daily selfies into professional photos. She built it solo, and it's jaw-droppingly good.

I've seen other companies do AI headshots, but I've found her images to be the best. Dozens of images in 30 minutes — why do this yourself?

About AI video extending

An AI video extender makes a clip longer by generating new footage that continues the shot past its last frame, rather than looping the clip, freezing the final frame or slowing it down. The model reads the end of the video — where the subject is moving, how the light falls, what the camera is doing — and predicts the frames that would have followed, so the added seconds carry on from the footage instead of repeating it. GoStudio.ai's works on the reasons clips usually run short: a take that ends before the moment does, a cut that has to reach a fixed 15- or 30-second slot, b-roll that has to cover a longer voiceover, and generated video that stopped at the five or eight seconds its model hands back. Your original section is kept untouched at its own resolution, frame rate and audio, and no GoStudio watermark is added to the download. It runs in the browser with 10 free credits to start, so it can be used as a free video extender online without installing anything.

How does an AI video extender work?

A conventional tool has only three moves, and all three are visible. It can loop — play your seconds again, so the motion snaps back to the start. It can freeze — hold the last frame, so the video becomes a photograph with a soundtrack. Or it can retime — slow the footage down, which reaches the runtime by changing the pace of everything in the shot. An AI extender takes a fourth route: it reads the closing frames of your clip for motion, lighting, subject and camera movement, then generates the frames that would plausibly have come next, keeping them consistent with each other so the new section holds together as a shot rather than drifting. Your footage stays exactly as it was, and the clip simply carries on — or, if you give it a prompt, carries on doing something you asked for.

How do I make a short video longer without it looking looped?

Extend it rather than repeat it. Practically: upload the clip, choose how many seconds to add, and run it. The tell of a loop is the reset — motion that snaps back, a subject who jumps to where they were a moment ago — and it survives every crossfade people try to hide it with. Generated frames have no reset in them, because nothing is being played twice. Two things help the result: end your clip on a settled shot rather than mid-movement, and extend in shorter steps if you need a lot of extra time.

What is the best way to extend a video online?

It depends on whether the extra seconds have to contain anything. Kapwing, VEED, Clideo and ezgif will loop, freeze or retime a clip in a browser for free, and if all you need is runtime under a static end card, that is a sensible answer. Runway, Kling, Pika and Luma genuinely generate a continuation and are very good at it, inside a creative suite and a monthly subscription. GoStudio.ai does the generative kind without the subscription: you upload a clip, pay per second of footage generated rather than per month, and the download carries no watermark. If the extra seconds have to look filmed, only the generative options are in the running at all.

What does it cost?

Billed per second of the finished video — the clip you uploaded plus the seconds you added, since the model hands back both stitched together — with the credit cost shown before the job runs. Eligible new accounts start with 10 free credits and no credit card, and the download carries no GoStudio watermark.

How does GoStudio.ai's video extender compare?

  • vs looping and freeze-frame tools: Kapwing, VEED, Clideo and ezgif reach a longer runtime with the frames you already have — played again, or held still. It is free and it is instant, and it is also obvious: a loop resets the motion and a freeze stops it. This adds seconds that were never filmed, so the shot keeps moving.
  • vs slowing the footage down: Retiming is the trick most editors reach for, and it buys length by spending pace. Every gesture, every camera move and every cut point in the shot changes speed to pay for the extra seconds. Extending leaves the timing you approved exactly as it is and adds the time at the end instead.
  • vs Runway, Kling, Pika and Luma: These genuinely generate a continuation, and they are strong at it. The difference is what surrounds the feature: they sit inside a creative suite on a monthly plan. Here it is one page, one upload and per-second billing — worth using theirs if you already live in one, worth using this if you do not.
  • vs regenerating the clip from scratch: When a generated video stops short, the instinct is to run the prompt again for longer. That trades a take you already liked for a new roll of the dice. Extending keeps the shot you have and continues it from its own last frame, which is usually the cheaper and more predictable move.
