WHAT IT FIXES

Five Color Problems, Fixed in One Click

Colors go wrong because of the light, a heavy filter or too much saturation. The fix finds what should be neutral and balances the whole photo around it.

Warm up a cold blue photo from fog, shade or cloud

Mist, shade and gray skies push a photo toward blue, so skin looks gray and whites look cold. The fix warms it back to neutral without turning skin orange.

Lift a dark, murky photo back to daylight

At dusk or in deep shade, the camera records a dark, muddy frame with a tint over everything. The fix brightens it and clears the tint, so grass, fur and sky look the way they did.

Skin tone correction: bring faces back from deep shadow

Deep shadows push skin toward brown or gray. The fix brings back the detail still in the file and returns skin to its natural color, for every skin tone.

Undo a heavy filter and get the real colors back

A teal-and-orange filter can bury a photo under a mood. The fix takes the look off, so yellow walls and green shutters are yellow and green again.

Tone down an oversaturated photo

Too much saturation makes every color louder, including the cast. Skies turn electric teal and trees turn neon. The fix brings colors back to believable levels.

Two years ago we spent thousands on branded images and professional headshots. Then I found GoStudio.ai — it helps you look like yourself, just on your best, most confident day.

The founder personally fixed all of my photos. Her commitment to giving everyone an excellent experience makes her a cut above many others. I have to give the experience 5 stars.

The images look so close to my original that if I didn't tell you they were AI-generated, you'd probably never notice. AI is your assistant — not your identity.

Kanika personally hopped on a call to help. That level of professionalism and kindness really impressed me. The AI photo is beautiful — GoStudio.ai makes professional identity accessible.

GoStudio.ai helped me show up as who I'm actually becoming — not who I thought I was supposed to be. It replaced two photographers and a retoucher for our catalog.

What is color correction?

Color correction is the photo edit that makes colors match what your eye saw. It removes the orange, blue or green cast left by the light, sets the white balance so whites look white, evens out the exposure and keeps skin tones natural. Unlike color grading, it adds no style or mood. GoStudio.ai’s AI color correction does this in one click, and the subject, framing and detail stay as they were. It’s part of GoStudio.ai, the one-click AI studio for people, pets and products. It’s also called photo color correction, a color corrector, a color cast remover or white balance correction.

What is a color cast?

A color cast is a tint over the whole photo, caused by the color of the light. Warm bulbs record orange, shade and cloud record blue, and some office lights add green. Your eyes adjust to the light in a room. A camera doesn’t.

How does the fix know the right color?

It looks for things that should be neutral, like a white wall, a gray sky or a white shirt, and balances the photo so they have no tint. Skin is a second check, because natural skin of every tone has a known balance of red, green and blue.

Isn’t auto white balance enough?

Usually it’s close. Camera auto white balance struggles when nothing in the frame is white or gray, or when one color fills the scene. Then the cast gets saved into the photo.

What does it change, and what does it keep?

It changes the color cast, the white balance, the exposure and the saturation. It keeps the people, the clothing, the background, the framing and the sharpness. Nothing is added or removed.

What can’t it do?

It can’t turn a black-and-white photo into color (use Colorize Photo), fix blur (use Image Deblur), or bring back detail in pure white or pure black areas. Under mixed light, when a window and a lamp light the same scene, no single fix suits both: the main subject will look right, and a corner lit by the other light may keep some of its color.

Color correction vs other options

  • ■vs Temperature and Tint sliders: Sliders do the same job by hand. You warm or cool the photo, push it toward green or magenta, then check the skin. Here you press one button.
  • ■vs Photoshop Auto Color or editing software: These work well if you know them. You still need to check curves, levels and skin by eye. Here the check is done for you.
  • ■vs a filter: A filter adds a look on top of the color problem. Correction removes the problem, so the photo looks like the moment, not like a style.
  • ■vs more saturation: Saturation makes every color louder, including the cast. Correction makes colors accurate first, so a corrected photo often looks calmer, not brighter.
  • ■vs color grading: Grading adds a creative look, like warm film or teal shadows. Correction comes first and makes the colors true. Want a look instead? Try Style Transfer.
