Someone found a way around our NSFW checks and used GoStudio to generate sexual content. We found it, we closed the gap, and we permanently blocked the account. This is not the kind of update we enjoy writing. But if you trust us with your face, you deserve to know exactly what we do when someone abuses that trust.

Permanently, the same day. Being a paying customer bought no leniency.

The bypass was patched so the same route cannot be used again.

- What happened — a user found a gap in our NSFW checks and used it to generate sexual content on the platform.
- The account is gone — permanently blocked. No warning, no appeal, no exception because it was a paying account. We had no choice, and we would make the same call again tomorrow.
- The gap is closed — the path that was used to slip past the filters has been patched, and the checks were tightened at exactly the point that was exploited.

GoStudio was built by one person in a small city in India who wanted anyone with a phone camera to have the same photos as someone with a studio budget. That is the whole reason this company exists. It was never built so that a person’s likeness could become something they never agreed to. “We say no to the wrong money” is one of the four things we say about how we build, and it is easy to write on an About page. It is harder at midnight, when the account you are about to shut down is one that pays us. We shut it down anyway. We will keep shutting them down. Your face is not a grey area to us, and it never will be.
